After a noteworthy absence due to the holiday and the start of the new year, I’ve returned with my “In the News” segment with acclaimed author and journalist Mr. Douglas Century.
In this latest episode, Doug and I discuss the recently released list from Vibe and Billboard: “50 Greatest Rappers of All-Time.” And throughout our conversation, we bring up rappers who aren’t on the list (whether or not they should be is a whole separate conversation, lol), the “fairness” of comparing eras, and a legendary verse from a rap artist we both thought was too close to the number one spot – at least as of 2023.
