ProHoeZak Talks Signing To Tandem Records & How He Got Into Producing, New Music Coming With Too Short, Mount Westmore, Kurupt + More On Unique Access

During part 3 of his interview with Soren Baker & Unique Access Entertainment, East Palo Alto, CA producer ProHoeZak discusses how E-40 has funny taste in his beat selection process, talks about signing his life away to Tandem Records in 1988 & how he initially got into producing music. The veteran producer also discloses the projects he’s working on with Too ShortMount WestmoreKuruptKokane & Suga Free, as well as his new compilation Bay Antics.

In previous installments of the Unique Access interview with ProHoeZak, the veteran producer discusses why Too Short changed the “Ain’t Gone Do It” chorus from the original version which featured the multi-faceted rapper-producer-singer,  details getting a call from Def Jam Recordings over a sample for a Snoop Dogg song that he didn’t use on From Tha Streets 2 The Suites album, getting production placements on the upcoming Mount Westmore album, reflects on the time he stole a car in order to open for legendary hip-hop group Public Enemy and more.
