Tha Chill of CMW & Former Ruthless Records Producer Rhythm D In The Studio

West Coast producers Tha Chill of Compton’s Most Wanted and former Ruthless Records producer Rhythm D,  were recently collaborating in the studio together.  Rhythm D took to Instagram earlier today to show the jam session between the two multi-platinum producers.

Rhythm D joined Eazy-E‘s Ruthless Records in 1992 as the label’s in-house producer after a short stint with Death Row Records.  The South Central Los Angeles producer contributed 3 tracks to the 1993 Eazy-E album It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa, and most notably produced the “Real Compton City G’s,” response record to Dr. Dre‘s “Fuck Wit Dre Day” diss song to Eazy.  Rhythm D has produced for many industry heavyweights including Eazy-E, MC Ren (1993’s Shock Of the Hour), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (1994’s Creepin’ On Ah Come Up & 1995’s E. 1999 Eternal), and Mack 10 (1998’s The Recipe) to name a few.

Tha Chill, as an artist and producer, has worked with many of rap’s biggest stars like MC Ren, MC Eiht, with whom he co-founded Compton’s Most Wanted, Snoop DoggRedmanBattlecatNate DoggKing TKuruptWarren G, and others.  Some of these masterpieces include “Shot Caller” for MC Ren’s last Ruthless Records album, Ruthless For Life in 1998,  “Run On Up” and “Ups & Downs” for Snoop Dogg, Warren G, and Nate Dogg on the highly-anticipated 213 project in 2004, and “Get’em” on Redman’s Red Gone Wild: Thee Album in 2007 to name a few.
