Kurupt Talks Dr. Dre’s “Detox”, Snoop Dogg & 2Pac Tension, Squashing Beef With DMX, Working On “Doggystyle”, The D.O.C. + More On Bootleg Kev Podcast

Kurupt has been a part of hip-hop history since he first stormed onto the scene with his appearance songs like “Lyrical Gangbang”, “Stranded on Death Row”, and “Bitches Ain’t Shit” from Dr. Dre’s multi-platinum solo debut The Chronic on Death Row Records in 1992. Since those incredible verse-stealing guest appearances, Kurupt has gone on to have a near 30 year career in the music industry, making more history along the way.

He was an integral part to several of hip-hop’s most classic albums including Snoop Dogg’s DoggystyleTha Dogg Pound’s Dogg Food with Daz Dillinger, and 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me, in addition to the aforementioned The Chronic with Dr. Dre, during his run on Death Row Records through the 1990’s.

During a recent sit down with The Bootleg Kev Podcast, the legendary MC gives an inside look on his days with Death Row Records, his relationship with the infamous Suge Knight, working with Snoop Dogg on Doggystyle, squashing his beef with the late DMX and other New York emcees, the tension between 2Pac and Snoop, and so much more.
