Back in 2019, Roddy Ricch emerged into a superstar, after the release of his debut studio album, “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial,” that December. It was led by singles such as “Big Stepper,” and “Start Wit Me,” ft. Gunna. The biggest record on this project though, ended up being “The Box.”
The Box soon climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and continued its momentum into 2020, as one of the hottest songs of the year then, as well. Now, the Compton rapper’s smash hit single has reached another massive milestone.
On Monday night, Roddy took to his Instagram stories, to announce that The Box is now certified diamond, in the US. In his IG stories, Roddy was out at an event, as the bright sparkles were brought out, as well as a massive diamond plaque, for The Box.
On December 17, Roddy will also be releasing his sophomore album, “Live Life Fast.” This release date was officially revealed last week, as well as its cover art. Live Life Fast is led by Roddy’s 2021 hit single, “Late At Night.”
