Dr. Dre is a busy man these days with the GTA Online “The Contract” dropping on December 15, headlining the upcoming Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show with Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Mary Blige, while also possibly putting together a new solo album.
In addition to those projects, Dr. Dre took to Instagram to announce he has just finished up a new album with Floetry singer Marsha Ambrosius entitled Casablanco. In the post, Dr. Dre exclaims, “I just finished recording an album with Marsha Ambrosius,” he wrote. “Casablanco I had a blast!! This is some of my best work!!”, as he appears surrounded by an people playing violins, cellos, and other orchestral pieces.
With her post on social media, Marsha echoed Dre’s remarks about the album being some of her best work saying, “I just finished recording an album with Dr. Dre “Casablanco” I had an amazing time!! This is some of my best work!!!”
Dr. Dre and Marsha Ambrosius have long history of working together with collaborations including Dre’s 2015 Compton album on the records “Genocide,” “All in a Day’s Work,” “Darkside/Gone” and “Satisfaction”, as well as with The Game’s “Start from Scratch”, Nas’ “Hustlers,” and Busta Rhymes’ “Cocaina” and “Get You Some.”
