LL Cool J Gives Props To DJ Quik On Salute The Sample With Greg Nice & DJ Z-Trip

During episode 6 of Salute the Sample with Greg Nice, DJ Z-Trip, and LL Cool J the trio discuss Cameo’s 1976 release “Rigor Mortis” and DJ Quikflipping it for his song “Get At Me” off the Safe and Sound release in 1995.

Once DJ Z-Trip started playing “Get At Me”, Uncle L commented on DJ Quik and proclaimed, “DJ Quik, one of the great producers in hip-hop.”
