Krayzie Bone of multi-platinum rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony spoke to DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. on the Drink Champs podcast about meeting Eazy-E, signing to Ruthless Recordsand more.
Within the first few minutes of the podcast, Krayzie starts detailing the history of the group trying to reach out to Eazy-E by phone when a Cleveland promoter put them in touch with Eazy’s assistant. When Eazy finally called them back, Krayzie recites a portion of the exact rap he spit over the phone that sparked Eazy’s interest in signing the group to his label.
