Doja Cat Drops “Vegas” Video From Forthcoming ‘ELVIS’ Soundtrack Via House Of Iona / RCA Records

Doja Cat drops the visual for her melodic single “Vegas” from the ELVIS Original Motion Picture Soundtrack via House of Iona/RCA Records. Directed by child. (Koffee, Roddy Rich, Big Sean), the video features Shonka Dukureh, who plays Big Mama Thornton in the film and will be on the upcoming soundtrack as well. The soundtrack is set to be released on the same date as Baz Luhrmann’s forthcoming film ELVIS, on June 24^th, starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks. The track incorporates “Hound Dog” in a unique, singular way that only Doja Cat could ever do. Doja debuted the catchy single for the first time at Coachella this year.

ELVIS is an epic, big-screen spectacle from visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann that explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). The soundtrack features Elvis’s extraordinary body of work spanning the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, while also celebrating his diverse musical influences and enduring impact on popular artists today.

Last week, Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee Eminem took to social media to preview a new collaboration with CeeLo Green for the upcoming movie Elvis, as well.

MC Ren Drops “Osiris” EP Featuring Kurupt, J-Dee, Cold 187um, Kokane, Jayo Felony, Ras Kass & Tha Chill

Iconic Rock N Roll Hall of Fame emcee and legendary hip-hop pioneer MC Ren of N.W.A just dropped the Osiris EP

Produced by Tha Chill of Compton’s Most Wanted, the 8-track EP features Kurupt of the Dogg Pound, Jayo Felony, Ras Kass, Kokane, Cold 187um of Above The Law, J-Dee of Da Lench Mob, as well as Tha Chill.

Last week, the Villain exclusively revealed the tracklist with Chad Kiser to the 8-track EP and said that he, “Feels honored to have everybody who was involved on the project. All of them came through and handled business and I want to thank all of them. Chill went on another level with production and I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”

Tha Chill also added about producing the project saying, “Working on Osiris, I went back and revised all of Ren’s slaps from N.W.A to Ruthless For Life and tried to figure out how to keep that energy, but make it new. I call it Infusion Music, infuse the old with the new. That’s why you hear breaks, scratches and interludes with 808s and hats going crazy.”
